Skating at the YMCA
Here at the YMCA we know skating. We've done this for years and we think we know what you want. Parties start from £145 for up to 30 skating guests, none skaters are not included and can watch for free. You get sole use of the fabulous Victorian Marlborough Hall and table/seating area. No other venue in Halifax or the surrounding area can match this price and deal.
We also host family skating sessions with prices at £5.00 and this includes skate hire.

Skate parties
What's included
- Skating for up to 30 guests.
- Exclusive use of the Marlborough Hall for 1 1/2 hours of skating.
- Full use of the kitchen and seating area for the duration of your party. Plus 15 minutes before and after.
- A member of staff on duty to control the music and issue roller boots/blades.
- Latest music.
Bookings are secured by a non refundable deposit of £50 to be paid when booking your party. The balance of the party is due 7 days before your party date. The Halifax YMCA reserves the right to cancel your party if the balance is not paid 7 days before the party date.

Family Skate:
Skating fun for all the family, adults must be accompanying children.
There's no need to book, just turn up and pay. Although online booking can be made through

Check our calendar for dates. Sessions run most Friday, Saturday's and Sunday's, but can be affected by bank Holidays etc.
Friday 6pm till 8pm
£5 per person, price includes skate hire.
Saturday 12 noon till 1:30pm
£5 per person, price includes skate hire.
Sunday 12 noon till 1:30pm
£5.00 per person, price includes skate hire.
